The Velocity theme is a great WordPress theme that is designed for a magazine or news style website. Its simplistic styling allows it be adapted to a wide variety of different site. It comes with some very easy to use features such as light and dark options, enabling or disabling the floating header, and a lot more!

This month we have also added a new parallax backgrounds feature to the Vertex framework. Parallax is a javascript effect that allows the background image of certain elements to scroll at a different speed than your browser.
